After several days of negotiations, the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight is not going to be cancelled but only postponed

Apparently, he made the decision to fight and simply postpone the date of the already existing deal. New information came from Netflix themselves, who made the announcement that the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight is not going to be cancelled. We are only looking at a postponement and a moving date. Initially, this fight was slated to happen on July 20 this year. Now we are getting a different date with both fighters agreeing that this would be the best time to step on the ring.

Accodring to the announcement made by Netflix, the new date for the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight is taking place on November 15. The place will still be the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Netflix is still the main organizer and they will stream the event live for the entire world to enjoy. According to this information, the co-main event between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano is also still standing. Mike Tyson’s medical emergency didn’t allow for him to continue training with the July 20 date in his mind. That’s the main reason they decided to postpone the event.

But Mike Tyson already committed himself to a contract, getting out of it wouldn’t be easy without paying a hefty fine.

The first press conference ahead of the highly anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has taken place, and fans think there is a clear winner following the face-off.

Both Paul and Tyson took part in a launch press conference on Monday ahead of their blockbuster fight on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with tickets for the fight going for insane prices.

At the presser, Tyson sent Paul a rather chilling warning while his YouTuber opponent talked his usual talk.

“I really like Jake a lot, but once he’s in that ring, he has to fight like his life is depending on it. Because it will be.”

Paul added: “He was game. I think he’s always wanted to do this. This has been a long time coming. We’ve been calling each other out for years and we finally got to make it happen, on Netflix, the biggest platform in the world. Things just keep on getting bigger and better.”

Following the press conference, the pair took part in their first real face-off, with both men seemingly in good spirits as they were seen laughing and joking with each other.

While there wasn’t any crazy headbutts or shoves to report on, fans were all gobsmacked by the size of Paul who looked considerably bigger than his opponent.
