YouTube star Jake Paul has invited former US president Donald Trump on his fight night with Iron ‘Mike’ Tyson slated for June 20.

“I know you used to promote Tyson, so I’d love to have you at the fight. Vivek came to my other fight. And, of course, the silver fox, Barron Trump. So, Donny, pull up, we’ve got tickets for you,” he added.

The two are scheduled to face off in Dallas, Texas, and the fight will be live on Netflix exclusively.

Jake wants rule changes for the Tyson fight

Given the significant disparities in age and weight between the two fighters, speculations about altered rules for the bout have been rampant. Some reports suggest using head guards and heavier boxing gloves, ostensibly to mitigate the punches.

While initially labelled as an exhibition match, Jake and Mike pushed the fight to be professional.

Despite Tyson acknowledging the bout as an exhibition, Jake contradicts the heavyweight legend. “Mike and I want this to be a pro fight, full face shots,” Paul told FOX News.

“We’re submitting that request to the commission. It’s an all-out war.”

Dispelling rumours of restrictions on landing punches, Paul dismissed speculations surrounding the use of oversized gloves and expressed his determination for an unbridled confrontation. “There’s been all these fake videos about not being able to hit each other, and we’ll be wearing big gloves but it’s all fake news,” he clarified.

Paul, who boasts a record of nine wins in ten professional fights, anticipates an iron-hard challenge from Tyson, notwithstanding the latter’s age. “I think he’s underestimating me, I truly, truly think that, ” and added, “It’s a heavyweight fight, he’s the bigger man but I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man but I’m fresh. He’s experienced. I’m smart but in the ring he may be smarter. It’s are really interesting match-up and people see the training videos and think he’s a beat.”

In June this year, after his last victory against Ryan Garcia in April last year, Gervonta Davis will return against former training partner Frank Martin. In this match, the boxer from Baltimore will put his WBA Lightweight title on the line for the fifth time since he won it against Yuriorkis Gamboa in 2019. At this, although most fans expect Davis to beat Martin, the latter hopes to upset ‘Tank’.

A lot of people are going to see the unexpected in that fight,” Martin told Fight Hub TV. In this connection, despite admitting ‘Tank’ was a star, the 29-year-old, who defeated Artem Harutyunyan via UD in his last fight, said he would “wake the world up,” displaying his skills.

However, Davis wants the boxing world to know that he is as committed to winning as Martin. Likewise, in his latest Instagram post, Davis shared photos of himself working out under the guidance of his trainer Calvin Ford. In doing so, he posed with a heavy bag and a slip ball. In another clip, the WBC Lightweight champion looked ripped after his cardio session.

To hype his fans up, Gervonta Davis even wrote, “They dont really kno pain but they want to be us!” As expected, after Davis’ post, several people positively reacted to it. While most of them lauded Davis’ preparation, one gave him the crown Mike Tyson wears. Here is what they said.

Although Gervonta Davis, now Abdul Wahid, reportedly indicated that his next fight would be on June 22nd at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, we have yet to receive an official confirmation. However, Davis is training seriously. On that note, besides showing off his ripped physique, Gervonta Davis shared snaps of himself hitting a heavy bag and mitts. In doing so, the 29-year-old promoted chrome heart bags and gloves.

Watching his shape and dedication, one decided to call the unbeaten champion by the title given to Mike Tyson. “Lfg baddest man on the planet,” they said.

Meanwhile, one wrote, “Tha dawg sharpest.

However, one asked Davis to “Get the rematch with pitbull Cruz!” In 2021, Gervonta Davis faced Isaac Cruz with his WBA Lightweight title on the line. In the match, despite injuring one hand in the sixth round, Davis beat Cruz via UD.

FRANCIS NGANNOU is set to return to MMA for the first time in two years following his brutal boxing loss to Anthony Joshua.

Ngannou walked out on the UFC last year to pursue a lucrative switch to boxing but he did so after signing with the Professional Fighters League.

The PFL gave the green light for the move to boxing and the ex-UFC champion faced Tyson Fury, 35, in October.

He sensationally dropped the unbeaten heavyweight boxer only to lose a controversial split-decision.

Ngannou then faced Fury’s British rival Joshua, 34, in March but it ended in a sickening second-round knockout loss.

Boxing legend ‘Iron Mike’ is back in the ring on July 20 when he fights social media sensation Paul at the 80,000 seat AT&T Stadium in Texas. Many of the fight details are unclear despite Tyson recently admitting the fight will likely be sanctioned as an exhibition, as it’s understood both he and Paul want it to go on their professional records.

Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event

Tyson’s last professional fight took place almost two decades ago as he quit on his stool against journeyman Kevin McBridge, whilst all of Paul’s last 10 fights have been professional bouts. If their fight is professionally sanctioned, both men could be wearing 10-ounce gloves instead of the rumoured 16-ounce gloves they would wear in an exhibition bout.

The fight could be six, eight or even 10 rounds and three judges would be ringside to score it, unlike an exhibition which would not be scored and no winner would be declared. KO’s would also be possible in a professional fight, an outcome that is unlikely in exhibitions as both fighters usually don’t put their foot on the gas as much.

Tyson hinted some of the fight rules could be similar to a professional bout when he told Fox News : “This is called an exhibition, but if you look up exhibition, you won’t see any of the laws we’re fighting under. This is a fight.” The 57-year-old admitted to being out of shape for his last fight, an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr, but insists he is taking his bout against Paul seriously.

This is a guy who’s going to try and hurt me, which I’m accustomed to, and he’s going to be greatly mistaken. As the fight gets closer, the less nervous I become because it’s reality, and in reality I’m invincible,” he added.

Paul thinks the fight will be the toughest of his career so far despite being over 30 years younger than Tyson, who is decades past his prime. “I believe I have what it takes to beat him. I know this is the toughest test of my life, and it’s an honour to be in there with Mike. But, at the end of the day, I’m gonna be the one who gets my hand raised,” he said.
