Mike Tyson’s life has been a constant fight against his inner demons. These demons have led to two disastrous marriages and two turbulent divorces. It was not until he met his current partner Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer, that the former world heavyweight champion found some stability in his love life.

As he prepares to return to the ring once again to face influencer and boxer Jake Paul, Tyson spoke with rapper T.I. Harris about his relationship with Spicer and his view of marriage in general.

He warned, “Without my wife, I’m a wild animal…” but also claimed that his view of women has changed over the years. “I see women differently now that I’ve grown up. When I was young, I saw them as pure pleasure. Now that I’m older, I see them as the other half,” he stressed.

Their married life has been anything but easy. Tyson’s addictions usually bring out the worst in him, and although Spicer has been a fundamental part of his rehabilitation, it has been a long and difficult road.

Despite all the difficulties, the couple has remained together, and in 2011 they had their second child, Morocco. Although Tyson’s sobriety is constant work, the boxer has found new ways to channel his energy from occasional exhibition fights to the Legends Only League, a boxing tournament for veteran fighters.

The rules for Jake Paul’s boxing match have finally been revealed, including decisions on knockouts, the number of rounds, and whether or not headguards will be used.

Tyson will be 58 when he boxes Paul, 27, in Dallas on 20 July, with the bout streaming live on Netflix. Since retiring as a professional in 2005, Tyson has fought just once, drawing with Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition contest in 2020. Meanwhile, YouTube star Paul is 9-1 as a pro boxer.

Paul added: “The biggest fight of the 21st century, in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live on the biggest streaming platform in the world…

“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”

Since then, both boxers have admitted to being ‘scared’ of the other.

In the co-main event on 20 July, Katie Taylor will fight Amanda Serrano in a long-awaited rematch. Ireland’s Taylor will defend her undisputed super-lightweight titles, two years after narrowly retaining the undisputed lightweight belts against the Puerto Rican star.

Oleksandr Usyk will beat Tyson Fury – Joshua

Anthony Joshua has backed Oleksandr Usyk to beat Tyson Fury next month – and is keen to take on both men in the future after he “steamrolls” his next opponent in September.

On May 18, the two heavyweight champions will take to the ring in Saudi Arabia to settle their score.

They were previously supposed to face off before the bout was rescheduled due to a cut that Fury picked up in his training camp.

The winner of the Usyk vs. Fury fight could end up facing former champion Joshua, who has also revealed his shortlist for the next fights.

It remains to be seen who will come out victorious, but with less than a month until fight night, AJ has given his prediction.

Joshua impressed in his last fight, stopping Francis Ngannou, whom Fury previously struggled against.

Having watched his fellow Brit make far easier work of Ngannou than he did, Fury will want to make amends next month, but he has his work cut out against the undefeated Usyk.

The boxer, who recently overcame UFC fighter Francis Ngannou in devastating fashion, also had everyone talking when he mentioned a host of names he could be facing.

Usyk is taking on Fury after a thrilling win over Daniel Dubois while Fury is looking to bounce back after struggling against Ngannou. The Saudi Arabia based fight could lead the winner to face off against Joshua later in the year, as AJ himself has hinted at, and both Fury and Usyk will know there is a lot on the line with this fight from titles, making history and a chance to set up what would be one of the biggest fights of all time.

For UK fight fans, Fury vs Usyk will be shown live DAZN PPV. The DAZN UK PPV price is expected to come in at £24.99, which also includes one month’s DAZN subscription. For existing DAZN subscribers, the UK PPV price will be £23.99.

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua has tipped Oleksandr Usyk to beat Tyson Fury when the two world champions collide in their undisputed title fight in Saudi Arabia next month

Anthony Joshua believes Oleksandr Usyk will prevail in the seismic undisputed heavyweight title fight between the Ukrainian and Tyson Fury.

Usyk, the reigning WBA, WBO and IBF world champion, will put his straps up against Fury’s WBC title to crown an undisputed kingpin of the heavyweight division next month in Saudi Arabia.

The fight will finally take place on May 18 after a serious cut sustained by Fury prevented the two from donning their gloves on the original date earlier this year. And while plenty believe the bout is too close to call, Joshua has tipped Usyk to conquer his domestic rival.

He revealed earlier this week that his next bout is likely to take place at Wembley Stadium in September. And while his opponent has not yet been determined, he could finally face off with Deontay Wilder with a view to meeting Fury further down the line.

Joshua said: “On June 1 in Saudi Arabia they’ve got the 5 vs 5 card. You’ve got Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois, and you’ve got Zhilei Zhang vs Deontay Wilder. So providing one of those looks good – the one who looks the best, His Excellency, Turki Alalshikh said to me, ‘I want you to fight [him].’

“What he says is, ‘In the future I want people to look back at your record and say that you took on the best.’ I said, ‘Now you’re speaking my language.’ So out of that pool, I believe that’s who I’m gonna be fighting, one of those.

“We’re on the same page and he’s on the same page as the fans as well. He’s trying to deliver what the fans want, I know they want that big fight with Tyson Fury and he’s working on it.

While even that offer was significant, things didn’t pan out the way Benn or Davis would have wanted and the fight was eventually scrapped.

The only thing Tyson said he would need is 30 straight days of training, and with that, he wouldn’t even have to focus on his diet.

Even though Jake Paul has climbed up to 230-pounds, Roy Jones Jr. believes it would take more to beat Mike Tyson in a fight. A former opponent of Mike Tyson’s has sent a warning to Jake Paul about what to avoid during the fight.

On July 20, Tyson will come out of retirement and take on Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The fight is set to be streamed on the popular platform, Netflix, who wrote on social media: “It’s JAKE PAUL vs. MIKE TYSON — yes, really! — in a LIVE BOXING event at AT&T Stadium you won’t want to miss. Airing live on Netflix Saturday, July 20 #PaulTyson.”

Earlier in the month, Tyson confirmed the rules for his much-anticipated bout against YouTuber turned-boxer Paul.

Jones added: “He knows he isn’t going to be able to stay away from him, he is hoping that a bit of muscle will push him backwards and keep him off him. “I just saw Jake yesterday, he’s 230 pounds. He’s big, really big. He said that he feels as fast as he was at 185lbs and he’s still young. He looked like he was comfortable in the weight, so I know that Mike Tyson has to fight in close. He likes to bob and weave and get close.”
