Woods has only played in one serious event since undergoing ankle surgery after pulling out of the 2023 Masters.
To keep up with the biggest modern names in golf, the 48-year-old is reportedly making a big change to his lifestyle for Masters week.
“He’s focused,” a friend of Woods told the New York Post. “He’s working really hard in the gym. He’s eating right. He’s even eliminated sex.
“He does that now when he’s preparing: no sex until the tournament is over. He doesn’t want anything to take away his focus.”

Woods’ golf career has been off track in recent years after a life-threatening car accident in February 2022.
Many expected his professional golf career to be over but the American has managed to get himself in incredible shape.
While Woods now only competes in the biggest events, his legacy is secure: he’s won 82 PGA Tour events, made more than £120million on Tour, and has five Masters wins (1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2019).
That last Masters title still gives current fans hope that Woods can regain the form that once made him the undisputed greatest golfer in the world and a must-watch any time he was on TV.
When Woods hits the course next week in Augusta, he will be making his 26th Masters appearance.
Woods is one of only three golfers in history with at least four Green Jackets, joining Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.

“The Masters is Tiger’s must-play event every year,” the friend said. “He’s working very hard, spending hours in the gym, practicing, taking care of himself. He wants to play, and he always plays to win.
