Jake Paul has been warned that he will likely be unable to take Mike Tyson’s power.

The YouTube star is set to meet heavyweight legend ‘Iron Mike’ in a showdown on July 20, with the former undisputed world champion known for his ferocious power throughout his hugely fruitful career.

Despite now being 57, Tyson has shown off the natural power he still possesses in short training clips, which have left some fans urging Paul to call off the clash.

And Roy Jones Jr, who was Tyson’s most recent opponent in an exhibition in 2020, has claimed it felt like a mule was crushing his chest when his rival landed body work.

He said to boxing legend Shane Mosley: “Mike Tyson is still the strongest puncher that I’ve ever been in the ring with.

“The first time he hit me in the chest, it felt like a mule had kicked me in the chest.

“And if he hits anybody with a shot like that, they are either going out or down, especially guys who are not used to being hit like that.

“With these types of people like Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, these guys are bigger and can take it.

“But Jake Paul, I don’t think he’s going to be able to take that.

“It might hit him on the chin like that, we’ll see, but it’s going to be tough [for him].”Jones Jr shared the ring with some fearsome fighters in their primes including Bernard Hopkins and James Toney, but named Tyson as the hardest hitter despite being years from his prime.
