Fans usually aren’t in favor of players moving between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
But one of the greatest Olympic athletes of all-time appears to be thrilled about it when it comes to one player.
The Bears agreed to a two-year deal with former Packers’ safety Jonathan Owens this week. Owens is the husband of star U.S. gymnast Simone Biles.

The couple began dating in 2020 and became engaged in February 2022. They were married in April 2023.
And while Taylor Swift was capturing headlines for her romance with Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and her appearances at Chiefs games, Biles was a regular at Lambeau Field this season.
And while she has some viral moments interacting with Packers’ fans, she’s apparently a big fan of the move to Chicago for practical reasons.
“I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband,” she said on X with a laugh.
Owens, who will be entering his sixth NFL season, spent his first four seasons in Houston. He thanked Green Bay and Packers fans for their support. Owens had 84 total tackles and a forced fumble last season.
Biles, who is preparing for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, is the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history. She will compete in Michigan in November.
