Fight fans brought Nate Diaz back down the earth after he called out three of boxing’s best heavyweights.

Two days after Anthony Joshua ruthlessly knocked out former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, the MMA star called out AJ, Tyson Fury, and Deontay Wilder.

“Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, I’ll whoop all your asses. Just so u know,” Diaz tweeted on Sunday evening.

The UFC legend’s comment section was soon flooded by fans who reminded him that his lone boxing match ended in a lopsided loss to a former Disney star.

Diaz crossed over to the squared circle last August, only to get dropped and outpointed by YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who will fight Mike Tyson on July 20.

One fan wrote: “Love ya Nate… but you lost to Jake Paul.”

Another added: “Stop embarrassing yourself you’re a grown man.”

A third person said: “You couldn’t even beat Jake Paul homie.”

Someone else joked: “They don’t want the smoke.”

Diaz has been relatively quiet since losing against Paul last year.

However, he has been flirting with a return to the UFC where he spent 15 years before walking away from the promotion following a submission win over Tony Ferguson in September 2022.

Diaz has called for a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor at the Sphere in Las Vegas, but he’s also in talks for a rematch with Jorge Masvidal, who beat him at UFC 244 in November 2019.

Earlier this year, it was reported the two men were set to box each other.

An official announcement about the bout is yet to occur, and Diaz’s social media activity suggests he is looking elsewhere for his next big payday.

Whatever happens, he won’t be fighting Joshua, Fury or Wilder, as they’ll hopefully be busy boxing each other, and Oleksandr Usyk, for the next few years.
